During his over 30 years in practice, Dr. Staahl has combined leading-edge technology and innovative techniques to achieve beautiful results for his patients. As the President of the California Academy of Cosmetic Surgeons, the President-elect of the American Society of Cosmetic Breast Surgeons, and a diplomat of the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery he is also leading the field of body contouring among his peers.

Dr. Staahl is an active lecturer at major society meetings, where he shares his experience with other Cosmetic Surgeons. He holds multiple board certifications through the American Academy of Facial, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons and the American Board of Oto-Head and Neck Surgeons and is an active and respected member of multiple surgical societies, including the American Board of Cosmetic Surgeons, the American Society of Liposuction and Surgery, and the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery. Dr. Stahl is married and has three grown children. He enjoys skiing, golf, scuba diving and fishing.
